Yarn Defect? 60 Day Return 

I will happily offer you a refund on the purchase price of your yarn or replacement within 60 days of purchase if there is a manufacturing defect.

Defects include: more than 2 (per skein): knots, mis-spun or incorrectly plied areas, weak or under-spun areas or another defect which causes you to be unable to use your yarn.

While manufacturing defects are rare, they do occasionally happen and I want you to be delighted with your yarn. Please email me directly to set up a replacement or refund.

You may also request a return via your customer dashboard. 

Wrong Color? 30 Day Return 

If you no longer need your yarn, or the color isn't what you need,  you may return it for a refund within 30 days of purchase.

Refunds will be given for yarn received back in original condition.

Refunds will be made to the original payment source. I am unable to refund shipping costs unless there is a manufacturing defect. Please email me directly to set up a return. 

I am unable to process refunds for:

• Tangling due to improper winding
  
• Dye lot differences

Wind Your Skein The Right Way

Hand dyed yarn is packaged in a skein (Sometimes also called a hank.). A skein is a giant loop of yarn, with both ends secured, which is twisted back on itself so a yarn band fits on it.

It needs to be wound into a ball before you use it. 

The most important part of winding a skein without tangles is to keep the inside of the loop supported and taut at all times. The easiest way to accomplish this is by using a yarn swift. If you don't have a yarn swift, don't worry, you have other options. To keep your skein from tangling during ball winding you can try:

• Place your skein over a chair back.
• Use a friend's arms.
• Place the skein around your knees - but be careful not to lift it off!

The most important thing is to keep outward pressure on the skein which will prevent the strands from crossing and tangling.

Return or Exchange

I understand that sometimes a skein doesn't work out. I offer returns for products in original condition within 30 days of purchase. Please contact me to set up your return. 

Returns Must:

• Be in original condition
• Free of pet hair, smoke & other odors, free of dirt
• If a skein is wound, it may not be returned
